Lightening Strikes Thrice

I couldn't have done it if I'd tried... I was out shooting at Wheal Coates when a gust of wind caught my tripod and sent it tumbling to the hard ground, camera and all. The result was a smashed casing and a shattered polariser and also a very angry owner! There have been a number of events at this location and they seem to get worse each time. Firstly I lost a tripod rubber foot then I fell over during a night shoot chipping my lens, then the camera case fell apart when I went in search of snow and now this! I don't want to get back

Beautiful gallery. Cornwall is one of my favourite places. I had a great honeymoon there last year and got some great sunsets at Lands End and Cape Cornwall.

I'm going to re-add you to my friends list... after 5 years on Deviantart, I had a list of 1500 friends, and wasn't simply being able to cope with all the deviations I was getting in my message center.
