I spent two days spent at Tavy Cleave and a night camping on Sharp tor with ~Alex37, the conditions were mixed but our patience paid off.
During a visit at midday the day before I found this composition of the river Tavy. Even though the conditions weren't ideal there was some good light and great skies but due to a fast shutter speed I wasn't happy with the movement of the water so I decided to reshoot the scene the following morning after sunrise. The warm light was much more desirable and the slower shutter speed proved vital in the atmosphere of the image and has become one of my favourite images of Dartmoor.
