Crossing the Atlantic meant seven days at sea, defiantly not the most appealing in terms of things to do. However I have always been fascinated by our oceans and specifically the Atalantic so crossing this vast natural wonder was an exciting experience and probably the only time I will do it in my life time. Leaving Europe at the beginning of Autumn, the seas and weather weren't exactly calm. Forever changing skies and stormy waters is a recipe for great weather photographs and my patience was rewarded. Running out on deck after a enormous rain cloud passed I stumbled to the back of the ship but wasn't able to capture the full rainbow, so I dived into the lift to the top deck where I was able to capture this great display of colour in it's entirety before disappearing over the horizon.
The image is a collection of 4 images all taken at 12mm so you can imagine the difficulty I faced when stitching which I spent the majority of time doing in between tasks at work today.
