Scorhill is a location I have been waiting to re visit for a while but the poor weather conditions over the past few weeks have scuppered any chance of returning. However after a brief look at the forecast I decided to head out and spent the whole morning dodging the hail storms and watching the light change. Surprisingly I was happier with the shot I took at midday when the light is at it's most 'harsh' but the contrast on the Landscape and looming skies gives the image much more atmosphere than the subtle light from earlier on. A great way to kick off 2012.
