This shot summed up the staggered autumn period we've had this year. As some trees bloomed with autumn colours others just lost their leaves without any loss in colour. I stumbled across this particular tree wasn't hard to miss amongst a sea of green, I climbed down to the the rivers edge and used my wellies to my advantage as I waded into the fast moving waters of the river Dart, I set up my composition and made my exposures before heading home.
